NEWSLETTER 1
3 September 2009
We hope you have all had a good summer holiday and we are glad to see everyone this new academic year. We would particularly like to welcome our newest pupils and their families; Chloe, Rufus, Liam, Harris, Harrison, Thomas, Samuel, Lucas, Dillon, James, Otis,
The school has had building work done during the holidays. The biggest changes have been to the children’s toilets which now look bright and modern. They seem much appreciated by pupils using them this morning. New flooring in Swans has made the room much brighter and provided an area for more messy activities.
We have attached a copy of the 2009-10 school terms so you can be clear when holidays are this year. Please try to take holidays during school breaks. Of special note this year is the October half term break which is two days longer than usual. The Easter fortnight which begins on Maundy Thursday. The school also has five days when we close for teacher training. One date was yesterday and others are:
Monday 5 October Friday 23 October
Monday 7 June
There is one more to be set in the Spring Term.
Pupils need to have their PE kit in school tomorrow.
