A very big thank you to all who supported the scarecrow trail, whether it was by making one of the excellent scarecrows, providing garden space to site it, or by coming along and guessing who the characters were. It was a very successful weekend that raised over £1300 for the school. Special thanks must go to all the members of the PTFA who worked so hard with the organisation, particularly

Karen Baker and Naomi Portingale for the trail, Emma Pascoe for the catering arrangements and Jonathan Lunt who once again organised an excellent barbeque on the Saturday evening. Thank you too to everyone who donated cakes.

The boards and publicity meant we drew visitors from beyond the village and all commented positively on the quality of scarecrows and the effort that had gone into them. Some are being loaned (for a donation) to Seend School for a weekend.
